NYC erectile dysfunction doctor

Question:
Does anyone know the name of a renowned NYC doctor that specializes in erectile dysfunction?

Answer:
I live in Brooklyn and visited three NYC doctors for erectile dysfunction. Two were local urologists who didn't know all that much. Stay away from small, neighborhood uro's! The third was a ED specialist at Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan who runs an Male sexual dysfunction clinic. His name is Dr. Eid. He seemed to be highly respected and has authored books. He diagnosed me with a psychological problem. Well..to make a long story short....six years later I revisited him with proof from my uro in Boston that I had damaged penile arteries from bicycle riding which caused my dysfunction. I brought copies of my angiogram and reports and shoved it in his face. I only hope he learned a valuable lesson. I am 2+ years post penile revascularization surgery and all my blood values are normal. I asked this doctor his opinion on my upcoming surgery with Dr. Goldstein and he said the scarring would be drastic, the bypassed artery could clot easily, and that I probably shouldn't have the surgery. He really didnt know what he was talking about. My surgery was not only a complete success but I was amazed at how well I healed and how the only visible sign of an operation was a 2 inch incision on my lower abdomen. After being treated by the best I can effectively evaluate other uro's. There is a Dr. Melman at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center Bronx. I was going to go see him before I found Dr. Goldstein. Maybe you might want to try him. It couldn't hurt to go see the doctor at Cornell and get an opinion. Educate yourself so you can ask the right questions. Be an active participant in your diagnosis, not a passive observer.
