Question:
I am 47 just seperated for a year after 25 years of marriage. I lived without
sex for 6 years and towards the end of my marriage I did seek relief the last 3
years, visiting Asian massage parlors etc.. and never having an erectile
problem.During the last 3 years, I've learned I had Type II diabetes, and by the time
I was in a new realtionship, I was having erectile dysfunction. I am able to
orgasm but am never fully erect. So I am off to the Urologist last May, I tried, Hormone shots (did nothing),
Viagra (did nothing) and finally penile injections which worked so-so and found
my erection ok for a short period of time but a one time thing.Over the past year, I have had maybe 8 different partners and actually had the
American Dream (two women together) and still did not get a hard-on, although I did orasm many times for the 2 day session.
So now here I am considering a pump inplant, which was the last alternative my
urologist suggested.
It seems on this site you folks have a vast amount of experience, anyone want
to comment?
Answer:
Diabetic ED is often caused by atherosclerosis, which will eventually
make Viagra and injections fail, yet a couple of months with the right
medications and diet and you can get rid of the problem, sometimes
completely!
