Question:
Erectile Dysfunction Under the Age of 40?
Answer:
Actually, Cliff, it's even more stupid than that. In the age group
considered in the study, ie, between 18 and 40, 16 of 81 cases of "Erectile
Dysfunction" were smokers. This is a rate of 19.75%. However, in the
population at large, the smoking rate for males aged 18 to 40 is currently
at 27%. That would mean that if smoking had nothing at all to do with
"Erectile Dysfunction", then the expected number of smokers in a group of 81
would be 22.
The obvious conclusion when the results of this study are applied to the
real world is that smokers suffer *less* "Erectile Dysfunction" than
non-smokers.
